Our Foundations
Our Mission:
ØOur mission is to love God and all people, to be inclusive and to provide acceptance and kindness in a ministry of restoration. Our desire is to not only reach out to the un-churched in our community, but to embrace those that have been injured by religion. Christ reached out to people of all traditions and background and we desire to do the same.
Our Vision:
Ø Our vision, as a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ, is to spread the gospel to all people and to encourage a Spirit-filled Christian life.
We Believe:
Ø In one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, ll Cor. 13:14, John 1:1)
ØThat our Lord Jesus Christ was the only-begotten of the Father, and is truly God and truly man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death for the sins of the world, resurrected bodily for our justification, and now reigns in glory until all things be put under his feet. (I Tim.3:16)
ØIn the absolute inspiration of the Holy Scriptures in their original autographs given by the Holy Spirit as He moved upon holy men of old.Further more we believe that the Holy Bible accepted as Canon by the early Christian Church to be the only written Word of God.(2 Pet 1:21)
ØThat man was made in the image of God and is by the reason of "the fall" alienated from his creator. Apart from God's grace he has no ability to attain relationship with God. (Psa. 8, Eph. 2:8-9)
ØIn the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross in our place, as the supreme sacrifice for sin, was buried in a tomb, but rose again the third day and reigns in glory interceding for us.(1 John 2:1)
ØThat justification is by grace through faith in the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. ( 3:21-24)
ØAll believers should be buried with Christ Jesus in the waters of baptism.Acts 2:38, Rom. 6:3-5, Matt. 28:19
ØThat the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance is an endowment of power given to the believer for sanctification and evangelism. (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 19:1-2)
ØIn the supernatural gifts of the Spirit active in the church today.(ICor.12:4-7)
ØIn the Five-Fold Ministry of Prophets, Apostles, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher, for the perfecting of the saints to do the work of God. (Eph. 4:11-16)
ØThat the believer called by the name of Christ should depart from iniquity, allowing the Holy Spirit to conform us to the image of Christ.(2 Tim. 2:19, Rom. 8:29)
ØThe literal second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and triumph of God's Kingdom over Satan. (Acts 1:9-11; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 22:1-7)
Salvation:
Ø The most important thing in your life is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is very easy to accept him, you only have to pray the prayer below, believing it with all of your heart: "Dear God, I know I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died in my place on the cross to pay the price for all my sins and that He rose from the dead. I now ask Jesus to come into my life as my Savior and my Master. Thank you God for making me Your child. Help me learn to please you in every part of my life and become more like Jesus. Amen."
If you prayed this prayer let us know by completing the prayer request on the left hand side of this page. We want to pray with you and encourage you in your new life.
